Material tests
Materials laboratory
We carry out the following material tests for you in our in-house materials laboratory:
- Hardness tests according to Vickers, Rockwell and Brinell, if applicable
- Measurement of SHD (= surface hardness depth/RHT)
- Measurement of the CHD (= case hardening depth/EHT)
- Measurement of the NHD (= nitriding hardness depth/NHT)
- Microstructure evaluations
- Damage analyses
Calibration
The hardness testers are calibrated annually by an external accredited service provider. A weekly validation is carried out internally, as required or at the customer’s request.
A plausibility check of the hardness testers is carried out regularly and documented.
Test reports are automatically stored on the internal servers via the testing software (KB Prüftechnik). They are stored in accordance with our quality management system. EMA Indutec has been certified to ISO 9001:2000 since 2003 and is regularly recertified.

Coordinate measuring machine
We can measure your components and workpieces with our in-house Zeiss coordinate measuring machine.
Our services:
- We determine dimensional and shape deviations, i.e. dimensional initial sample tests and a measurement report for individual and series tests, etc.

We can use the data and templates you provide for the measurements.

We provide you with the reports in printed and/or digital form.
To prepare an individual offer, we need the following from you:
- A photo of the workpiece to be measured
- Technical drawings including indication of tolerances
- The description of the test characteristics to be measured
- Information on clamping the workpiece during measurement
- Information on special report templates
- Information on applicable standards or specifications
