VELA
High-performance machine for the heat treatment of transmission components
In addition to the induction hardening of carburized sliding sleeves with quenching on a calibrating mandrel, the machine process also includes induction tempering in conjunction with wear-free removal of the workpiece from the calibrating mandrel.
Due to the close tolerance of the completely heat-treated workpieces, reworking can be significantly reduced. One of the most expensive hard machining steps, the regrinding of hardened surfaces, is drastically minimized.
We also offer you the option of a web connection and the integration of your system into existing processes and production lines via automation interfaces. Quality assurance packages round off the range of services.
Advantages:
- Workpiece dimensions close to the final dimension
- Minimization of rejects and rework
- Machine can be integrated directly into the line
- One-piece flow
- Energy savings through short-term heating
- Excellent reproducibility
- Best accessibility for set-up and service
- Low-scaling surfaces due to inert gas atmosphere
- Remote service via security provider
