4. Web analytics tool etracker
On the service portal, this website uses services provided by etracker GmbH from Hamburg, Germany (www.etracker.com) to analyse user data. Cookies are used there to ensure a statistical analysis of the use of this website by its visitors as well as the display of use-related contents or advertisements. etracker cookies do not contain any information to identify a user.
Data generated by etracker are exclusively processed and saved in Germany on behalf of the provider of this website and, therefore, are subject to the strict German and European privacy acts and standards. In this context, etracker was independently approved, certified and was awarded the data privacy seal ePrivacyseal.
Data processing takes place on the legal base of Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit f (legitimate interest) of the EU Basic Privacy Regulation (EU-DSGVO). Our legitimate interest includes steady optimisation of our online offer and our web presence. As the privacy of our visitors is of particular importance for us, the IP-address is anonymised by etracker as soon as possible and login and hardware identifications are converted by etracker into a unique code that is not assigned to a person. Any other use, combination with other data or transfer to third parties will not take place by etracker.
You may object to the aforesaid data processing at any time as far as it is personalised. Your objection will not have any disadvantageous consequences for you.
We will process your personal data as explained under para 1. for the following purposes:
Data processing takes place on the legal stipulations set forth in Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit f of the Basic Privacy Regulation (DSGVO) in order to meet the requirement mentioned under para 4. As regards any quotation request through our service portal, we will process your personal data in this context on the basis of its necessity for pre-contractual measures in respect of your inquiry (Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit b DSGVO).
For the purposes mentioned above, we will transfer your personal data to the following recipient:
- IT-service providers we use,
- Our subsidiaries and partner companies as far as required to process your inquiries and to submit you a quotation.
Some of the recipients mentioned above are domiciled outside your country or process personal data outside your country. The privacy level in another country may be different from that valid in your country. However, we will transfer your personal data only to those countries for which the EU-Commission has decided that they have got an appropriate privacy level or we will take measures to ensure that all recipients have got an appropriate privacy level. This takes place, for instance, by concluding reasonable data transfer agreements on the basis of standard contractual clauses (2010/87/EC and/or 2004/915/EC). Your personal data collected automatically will be saved under normal circumstances for a period of three months. We will save such data only to the extent for a longer period as required by the detection of attacks on our website. In this context, we will save the personal data collected on your request for a period of seven years and such data we collect during the use of the service portal at least for the period during which you are registered on the portal. Thereafter, we will retain your personal data as long as legal retention period or potential legal claim are not statute-barred yet.
As the law stands, you have, among other, the following rights (under the terms established by applicable law): (i) to verify which and which kind of personal data we possess about you and to request copies of such data, (ii) to request correction, completion or deletion of those personal data which are faulty or which were processed in non-respect of applicable regulations, (iii) to raise an objection against processing of our personal data under certain circumstances and for legal reasons or to revoke any previously given consent to process such data, (v) to request data portability, (vi) to know the identities of third parties to which your personal data has been transferred, and (vii) to file a complaint with the competent authority.
